Join dormakaba as an Automatic Door Technician in Charleston, WV, and install and service a variety of doors and equipment!
What Will You Be Doing?
- Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings
- Perform corrective service on automated access doors
- Perform preventative maintenance on automated access doors
- Manage assigned parts and consumable stocks
- Maintain a neat and organized vehicle and workspace
- Serve as the lead installer in automatic door installations

Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a technician with experience in mechanical, construction, or electrical fields. The ideal candidate is aware that this role can be physically demanding, including the ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead.
- Valid current driver’s license
- Experience in mechanical, construction, or electrical field
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead
- 2 years of experience as an automatic door installer or service technician (preferred)
- AAADM certification (preferred)
