We are seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of all logistical processes within our working environment. This role involves coordinating the logistics team, monitoring work progress, and acting as a crucial link between internal departments, suppliers, and the client organisation. You will actively contribute to reliable, safe, and well-organised facility support for laboratories and the building.


What Will Your Responsibilities Be?

  • Lead and guide logistics and facilities staff.
  • Develop schedules and distribute work assignments.
  • Coordinate suppliers for logistical services (e.g., waste processing, industrial gases).
  • Perform quality control on mail, goods, and sample flows (inbound and outbound).
  • Manage inventory and place orders for lab warehouses.
  • Distribute waste collection resources, chemicals, and gas cylinders.
  • Monitor the order and cleanliness of expedition and storage warehouses.
  • Identify and report unsafe situations and propose improvements.
  • Manage and inspect logistical equipment.

  • Minimum MBO diploma in Logistics, Facility Services, or equivalent.
  • Relevant vocational training (e.g., hazardous materials, forklift certificate).
  • VCA-VOL and BHV certification, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Good knowledge of logistical processes and the direct working environment.
  • Leadership qualities and experience in managing teams.
  • 5–7 years of work experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Dutch.
