We are seeking a Buyer II to manage the supplier base and direct procurement of assigned commodities, ensuring smooth production flow and on-time customer order fulfillment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage MRP and perform procurement of assigned commodities.
- Evaluate MRP purchase requisitions and review inventory levels.
- Participate in evaluating supplier performance based on defined KPIs.
- Coordinate internal and external communication for improvements.
- Monitor market indicators and develop strategic buys.
- Research, select, and vet new suppliers.
- Process purchasing-related documentation.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in purchasing and supply management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment or a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management. Experience utilizing MRP and ERP systems is essential. AS400 experience is preferred.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing experience
