Join the Future Tech Lab and bring innovative ideas to life as a Rapid Prototyping Engineer, developing and testing prototypes to improve Lely's products.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and improve prototypes focusing on electronics and software.
Conduct exploratory research into technologies and sensors.
Perform rapid prototyping to substantiate opportunities and risks.
Set up, configure, and validate test setups.
Collaborate with colleagues in electronics and software.
Document results and provide informed recommendations.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

The ideal candidate has a broad technical background and a curious mind, comfortable with both software and electronics. They understand the physics of sensors and can analyze data to translate it into practical insights. They view uncertainty as a starting point for discovery, not an obstacle.

Higher professional education or university education in a relevant field.
Comfortable with Python & C++ concepts and data analysis.
3-7 years of experience in prototyping or similar innovation environment.
Strong hands-on mentality with proven experience in building and testing prototypes.
In-depth expertise in mechatronics, embedded systems, or related domain.
Critical, constructive attitude with the ability to set priorities.
