We are looking for a dedicated Docent/mentor to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for young people in special education, fostering their sense of value and motivation.


Your Responsibilities

  • Organise a safe, challenging, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Recognise and cater to the individual needs, interests, and talents of each student.
  • Contribute to the development of our school in a collaborative manner.
  • Fulfill all mentor responsibilities.
  • Teach various subjects at VMBO BB/KB and TL level.
  • Work within a team of colleagues, particularly with another bridge class teacher.
  • Help create a positive school environment where students enjoy learning and staff function effectively as a team.

  • Experience with the age group and target group (or willingness to learn).
  • Goal-oriented, structured, and proactive attitude.
  • Healthy dose of humour combined with flexibility.
  • Full-week availability (or open to discussing alternative possibilities).
  • Enthusiasm for the role.
