As a Software Test Engineer, you will directly contribute to the quality and reliability of the Lely Digital Platform. This platform underpins digital applications used globally by dairy farmers. You will work closely with software engineers and other specialists in multidisciplinary teams to ensure applications are technically sound and meet practical farm needs.
Key Responsibilities in This Role
- Set up and enhance mobile test automation frameworks.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for native iOS and Android applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to continuously improve the quality and testability of mobile applications.
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing, with a keen eye for edge cases and user experience.
- Analyse and report test results, providing clear findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes and tools.

Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative Software Test Engineer who is passionate about improving software quality. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that values continuous improvement, learning, and experimentation. You should feel comfortable working with colleagues from various disciplines and possess a strong understanding of both automated and manual testing methodologies.
Your profile should largely align with the following requirements: a higher professional education or university level of thinking and working, demonstrable experience in test automation and manual testing, and hands-on experience with native iOS and Android application automation. We value a candidate who brings programming experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript and is familiar with Agile/Scrum environments. An affinity for quality, test strategy, and continuous improvement of testing approaches is essential.
- Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) working and thinking level.
- Demonstrable experience with both test automation and manual testing.
- Hands-on experience automating native iOS and Android applications.
- Programming experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
