Join C&A as a Platform Engineer and build the foundation for our digital transformation. Enable product teams with a secure, scalable Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and modern cloud connectivity, balancing developer autonomy with operational excellence.
What Will I Be Doing?
- Design and evolve our Internal Developer Platform to improve developer experience.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and robust CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and deployment.
- Architect scalable solutions on AWS and connect them with the enterprise landscape.
- Design the 'glue' (APIs, Event-Driven Architectures) that makes data flow securely between systems.
- Ensure our systems are observable (Monitoring/Logging) and secure by design.
- Integrate compliance and security controls directly into the platform workflow.
- Work closely with architects and dev teams to define 'Golden Paths'.
- Scout new technologies to continuously modernize our stack.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a problem solver who values clean architecture and helps others succeed. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps, along with a degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. Experience in agile environments is essential.
- Experience with public cloud (AWS preferred) and container ecosystems (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD logic.
- Understanding of APIs, Integration patterns, or Event Streaming (e.g., Kafka).
- Coding skills in Python, Go, or similar.
- Problem-solving mindset with a value for clean architecture.
- Professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in agile environments.
