As a Concrete Construction Supervisor, you will lead complex concrete works in civil projects across the Netherlands, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. You will be instrumental in delivering critical infrastructure that keeps the country safe and accessible, managing project teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Making an Impact: Your Responsibilities
- Instruct the project team on daily tasks, planning, and safety protocols.
- Verify and manage deliveries from subcontractors to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the head supervisor, other supervisors, and work preparers on design implementation.
- Consult with clients and colleagues from diverse disciplines, including technical managers, ecologists, and risk managers.
- Monitor project progress, manage costs, and identify areas for adjustment.
- Develop and implement smart working methods and solutions for unforeseen challenges.
- Coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Concrete Construction Supervisor with a strong background in civil infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess an MBO or HBO level education, preferably in civil engineering, and several years of proven experience in a similar role on complex projects. You should be adept at providing clear direction, maintaining an overview of project sites, and acting as a key contact for clients and subcontractors. Your ability to collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues, from specialists to project leaders, is crucial. You must be able to keep teams aligned, identify necessary adjustments promptly, even under pressure, and enjoy working hard as part of a supportive team.
- MBO or HBO level education, ideally in civil engineering.
- Several years of experience as a supervisor in civil infrastructure.
- Proven experience with civil constructions such as bridges, viaducts, or other concrete works.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear leadership and instruction.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with various stakeholders.
- Capacity to maintain calm and overview in complex project environments.
- A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
