As a Platform Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the foundational platforms that drive our digital transformation. This involves defining the platform's direction, prioritizing its evolution, and ensuring it delivers significant value to our product teams. Your role is crucial in balancing developer autonomy with operational excellence through a secure, scalable Internal Developer Platform and modern cloud connectivity.
Your Core Contributions
- Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), defining its roadmap and driving adoption
- Make key architectural decisions for our AWS-based landscape and integration patterns
- Ensure platform reliability, observability (Monitoring/Logging), and robust security posture
- Align platform strategy with broader business goals through collaboration with stakeholders
- Define 'Golden Paths' and empower engineering teams to operate more efficiently and securely

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Platform Engineer with a strong ownership mindset, someone who approaches challenges with a product-oriented perspective, focusing on outcomes rather than just outputs. You should possess deep expertise in public cloud environments, preferably AWS, and container ecosystems like Docker, understanding not just their use but also their governance and scalability across teams. Automation is crucial, requiring proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices, with a design philosophy centered on self-service.
Furthermore, a robust understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and Event Streaming (e.g., Kafka) is essential for this role. You should have practical coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or Node, enabling you to critically review code and build necessary tools. Excellent communication and influencing skills are paramount to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders, advocate for platform investments, and unite teams towards a shared vision. Significant professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps, ideally with product or platform ownership responsibilities, along with experience in agile environments, will set you apart.
- Platform Ownership Mindset (product-focused, outcome-driven)
