We are seeking a proactive Commercial Product Specialist for our Milking proposition in the Benelux region. This role involves translating Lely's latest innovations into compelling value for dairy farmers, driving commercial objectives, and supporting the marketing and sales efforts of Lely Centers. You will act as a crucial link, providing training, market insights, and strategic guidance to ensure successful product commercialisation.
Your Impactful Daily Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver product training and workshops to enhance sales advisors' knowledge and skills
- Accompany sales advisors occasionally to provide support and identify market trends and commercial opportunities
- Manage, update, and translate sales support materials and tools for the Benelux market
- Serve as the crucial link between Lely Centers and the Milking Business Team, relaying practical experiences and product updates
- Initiate and support marketing activities and events in collaboration with Lely Centers
- Analyse market and competitor data to translate insights into actionable commercial opportunities
- Provide support for product validations and the successful introduction of new products
- Collaborate with international colleagues to share experiences, trends, and market opportunities

Who We Are Seeking for This Role
We are looking for a commercially driven individual with a passion for the agricultural sector, particularly dairy farming. The ideal candidate will possess strong coaching and training abilities, thriving on guiding and developing others. You should demonstrate a systematic, structured, and analytical approach, comfortable working with data-driven tools such as Tableau.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential, with proficiency in French and/or German being a significant advantage. A team player at heart, you are constructively critical and enjoy collaborating with Lely Centers and the cluster team. Furthermore, you are independent, proactive, flexible, and prepared to travel within the Benelux, adapting to varying schedules for appointments and client visits.
- Experience or strong affinity with the dairy farming sector
- Result-oriented and commercially driven with a passion for uncovering opportunities
- Strong coaching and training skills, with enjoyment in developing others
- Systematic, structured, and analytical approach; data-driven work (e.g., Tableau)
