As an Operations Manager, you will strategically lead and manage production, despatch, and warehousing at our Dandenong South site. This hands-on leadership role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operations, meeting targets for output, cost, quality, and inventory, while driving continuous improvement across all production areas.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Lead production, despatch, and warehousing operations at the Dandenong South site.
- Actively manage daily operations including scheduling and workflow optimisation.
- Embed risk management and drive incident reduction for safety and wellbeing.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance capacity, labour utilisation, and quality.
- Optimise inventory and working capital through strong controls.
- Implement preventative and predictive maintenance for asset performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to foster a high-performing culture.

- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and dispatch.

- Track record of driving continuous improvement and operational performance.
- Experience in leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred.
