dormakaba is seeking a remote-based Sales Representative (End User Consultant) in the Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta area. This role focuses on generating demand for dormakaba products by engaging customers consultatively, identifying needs, and providing tailored solutions. You will partner with the team to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and acquire new prospects.
Your Impact as a Sales Representative
- Collaborate with the team to achieve annual sales targets across product lines.
- Effectively address end-user needs and concerns in partnership with the Distributor and Distribution Development Manager (DDM).
- Implement tactical programs to influence end users to convert from competitive brands.
- Maintain ongoing communication and alignment with the DDM for consistent execution and fulfillment of end-user requirements.
- Identify additional growth opportunities through a consultative selling approach.
- Expand product mix and acquire new qualified prospects.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ready to make a significant impact remotely in the Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of understanding and aligning customer needs with tailored solutions. A high school diploma or greater education is required, and a Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a similar field is preferred.
Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce.com, account management experience, and knowledge of the construction industry or door hardware product lines are definite assets. Experience working with a global multidisciplinary team or international customers/suppliers is also a plus. You must be able to travel over 50% of the time, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to sales.
- 2+ years of sales experience.
- High school diploma or greater education.
- Ability to travel 50% or more.
- Reside in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
- Bachelor's in Sales, Business, Marketing, or similar (preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com) (preferred).
- Account Management Experience (preferred).
