Join the Future Tech Lab and bring innovative ideas to life as a Rapid Prototyping Engineer, developing and testing prototypes to improve Lely's products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve prototypes focusing on electronics and software.
- Conduct exploratory research into technologies and sensors.
- Perform rapid prototyping to substantiate opportunities and risks.
- Set up, configure, and validate test setups.
- Collaborate with colleagues in electronics and software.
- Document results and provide informed recommendations.

Ideal Candidate Attributes
The ideal candidate has a broad technical background and a curious mind, comfortable with both software and electronics. They understand the physics of sensors and can analyze data to translate it into practical insights. They view uncertainty as a starting point for discovery, not an obstacle.
- Higher professional education or university education in a relevant field.
- Comfortable with Python & C++ concepts and data analysis.
- 3-7 years of experience in prototyping or similar innovation environment.
- Strong hands-on mentality with proven experience in building and testing prototypes.
- In-depth expertise in mechatronics, embedded systems, or related domain.
- Critical, constructive attitude with the ability to set priorities.
