As a Civil Supervisor, you will lead complex concrete construction projects, including bridges, viaducts, and underpasses, crucial for keeping the Netherlands safe and accessible. You will be at the heart of the execution, maintaining an overview, and guiding your team to ensure safety and adherence to schedules on the construction site.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Instruct the project team daily on work and planning, and verify subcontractor deliverables.
- Collaborate with the lead supervisor, other supervisors, and work planners to assess design implementation.
- Consult with clients and colleagues from other disciplines, such as technical managers and ecologists.
- Manage project progress, control costs, and propose smart work methods and solutions for changes.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available at the right place and time.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere on the construction site and celebrate team successes.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual who can provide clear direction and establish a solid foundation for on-site work. You will bring calm and clarity to the project location, serving as a key point of contact for clients and subcontractors. Your ability to easily interact with diverse colleagues, from specialists to project managers, is crucial. You effectively align everyone's goals and identify early where adjustments are needed, even under pressure or demanding environmental conditions.
Beyond your technical expertise, we are looking for a collaborative team player who enjoys hard work and finds pleasure in achieving shared goals. If you possess these qualities and are ready to tackle complex civil infrastructure projects, you will thrive within our team.
- MBO or HBO level education, preferably in Civil Engineering.
- Several years of experience as a supervisor in civil infrastructure.
- Proven experience with civil constructions such as bridges, viaducts, or concrete works.
- Experience in integrated or multidisciplinary projects is a strong advantage.
- Ability to provide clear leadership and guidance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive mindset with an aptitude for problem-solving and collaboration.
