As an experienced Banqueting Manager for ARTIS, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating events, leading the hospitality team, and ensuring every dinner and event runs flawlessly. With your leadership and attention to detail, you will create unforgettable experiences for our guests, right in the heart of ARTIS.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Organise and execute a variety of events, conferences, and parties
- Lead and manage the banqueting team to ensure perfect event delivery
- Maintain close contact with clients to understand and fulfil their wishes
- Coordinate with kitchen, service, and other departments for smooth operations
- Ensure high standards of service quality and hospitality are consistently met
- Manage event budgets and personnel effectively
- Resolve any issues promptly on event days to ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with management to continuously improve banqueting activities and achieve commercial goals

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Banqueting Manager with a relevant qualification and proven leadership experience in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a professional hospitality environment, specifically within banqueting and/or event management. You are a proactive individual with exceptional organisational talent, possessing an open, direct, and communicatively skilled approach, capable of quickly adapting to changing situations. You know how to motivate, inspire, and enthuse your team, consistently going the extra mile to achieve outstanding results. If you have a passion for food and beverage, and are committed to maintaining a food-safe environment, you will thrive in this role.
- Relevant qualification with leadership experience in hospitality
- Proven experience in banqueting or event management within a professional hospitality setting
- Proactive and highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to adapt quickly
- A natural ability to motivate, inspire, and enthuse a team
- Commitment to going the extra mile for guests and colleagues
- Awareness of food safety standards and practices
