What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage REACH and restricted chemicals within C&A.
  • Act as the lead expert in chemical/product safety and textile labelling.
  • Lead and provide expert input for new product development.
  • Represent C&A in industry committee meetings.
  • Deliver support and provide data for authorities or NGOs.
  • Provide training to QMTS, business units, and suppliers.
  • Manage proactive input into sustainability and technical requests.

We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with strong chemical knowledge and a background in the textile industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience, preferably in retail, and a university degree in chemical engineering or equivalent. They should possess extensive knowledge of textile testing, market legislations, and laboratory testing procedures.

  • Strong chemical knowledge and background in the textile industry
