Join our team as a Strategic Buyer, focusing on indirect expenses. You'll develop procurement strategies and manage supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations.
What You'll Be Doing?
- Direct the overall consulting process with departments to determine needs and develop specifications for goods and services
- Place and track purchase orders for materials, consumables and services needed for proper functioning of the company
- Control orders from execution to stock arrival and monitors shortages of purchased items
- Negotiate with suppliers on any commercial terms
- Negotiate budgets and strategies with the company stakeholders
- Participate in RFQ process, Supplier performance evaluation for qualitative aspects and cost analysis, supplier price negotiations and cost savings initiatives
- Maintain business system integrity as pertaining to vendors and other purchasing records
- Prepare analysis and reports

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Strategic Buyer with excellent computer literacy and strong negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in procurement, particularly in logistics, freight, and CAPEX. Fluent English and German are essential, along with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- At least 4 years of previous experience on a procurement role: logistics, freight, and CAPEX
- Excellent computer literacy
- Experience in strategic sourcing and execution of professional tenders
- Knowledge of SAP, Navision or any other material management module
- Experience in contract- and supplier relationship management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in English and German
- Proactive and positive attitude
