dormakaba is seeking a dedicated Value Stream Leader to oversee the Electronics and Mortise Value Stream in Indianapolis, IN. This onsite role involves leading operational planning, performance, and continuous improvement, driving high standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost within a manufacturing environment.
What Your Role Will Involve
- Lead the full product value stream, managing backlog, lead time, and on-time delivery
- Oversee final assembly, subassembly, and connected manufacturing teams
- Promote a strong safety-minded culture and ensure 5S standards are met
- Provide leadership and expertise to the Operations and Material Handling team
- Manage department metrics and budget, reporting daily performance
- Proactively drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess proven ability to implement Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and be proficient with ERP systems, particularly SAP. You will be a results-oriented individual who can effectively lead and coach a team to achieve high performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in manufacturing operations
- Proven ability to implement Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, especially SAP
- A four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving and root cause identification skills
- Ability to manage production of multiple SKUs (preferred)
